Are you insured?
Yes! ACS maintains one million dollar General Liability coverage with a 2 million dollar aggregate. We also maintain an active Worker’s Compensation Policy on our crew.
Are you trustworthy?
Earning and maintaining your trust is at the forefront of our business values. We pride ourselves on our reputation and take every measure to ensure customer satisfaction. Our owner is always accessible to homeowners and, in most cases, on-site to oversee and complete all work.
Are your supplies/products trustworthy?
Absolutely! We use only the highest quality products from trusted brand name companies. We also offer industry leading warranties for materials and work.
How long do you think it will take to replace my roof?
Generally speaking, we are able to get a roof completely stripped, prepped, and replaced in one day. We also take extreme measures to ensure our worksites remain clean and safe, from start to finish, going so far as using magnets to ensure all nails are picked up, upon completion of the work.
Do I get to choose the color?
Yes, of course! After our owner completes the project estimate, he schedules a time to meet directly with clients to sign the proposal and discuss the project. During this meeting, he discusses color and material selections and establishes a timeline for completion. In most cases, it takes one week from initial meeting to project completion.
Is the owner on site?
Our owner is on site, on all projects, during the beginning, middle, and end. He completes all estimates, oversees all work, and remains hands-on from start to finish. Though he may split time between projects, he is always accessible to homeowners via phone and email.
How do you need to be paid for the service?
ACS requires a 50% deposit, prior to the roof replacement or other service, and balance is due upon completion. For your convenience, ACS accepts payments via cash, check, PayPal, and all major credit cards.
How soon can you get to my roof?
Typically, we begin projects within two to four weeks of receipt of the signed proposal and deposit.
Do you guarantee your roof?
Yes, ACS provides a one year warrantee following roof application. In most cases, we stand behind our warrantee for even longer. While we stand behind our work, we cannot guarantee our work for acts of God (hail, wind, snow, storm, or extreme weather systems) or human negligence.
Are you a local contractor?
Yes. ACS is based in Grand Island, Nebraska, and we represent the tri-city area and surrounding communities. Prior to occupying Grand Island, our owner lived Kearney.
How much does a roof cost?
Roof costs vary. As you can imagine, there are a lot of factors that need to be taken into consideration when estimating the cost of a roof. Are your gutters seamless?
Yes, they are a seamless run. The only time we splice different runs together are for runs that exceed 100’ single run.
Can I choose my gutter color?
Yes, we can custom match most color schemes to your desire.
Are your gutters quality?
Absolutely! We use the highest gauge of metal that the gutter machine can shoot out. Also, we use oversized downspouts as our standard downspout. We also secure all gutters with a hidden crew fastener. These features, combined, make our gutters the highest quality on the market!
Can you install different types of siding?
Yes, ACS can install all different types of siding. We will meet with you to discuss which options are the best, and most practical, for your situation.
What if there is damage underneath my siding?
In cases where there is unforeseen damage, not accounted for in our initial estimate and inspection, we take pictures of the damage and immediately contact you to share the photos, meet with you to show you the damage, and together, discuss how best to proceed. We will never increase our bid to compensate for unforeseen damage, without first discussing everything with the homeowner.
Will I get to pick out the style and color of siding?
Of course you will. We have several different profiles and colors from which to choose. In cases of siding repair, we can even match your existing siding to allow for a seamless repair.
Can you vent my soffits?
Yes, this is my actual preferred method, as it is likely a crucial component in the ventilation of your roof.
Can you bend your own metal to wrap custom pieces?
We can! We have a large brake that allows us to bend our own metal at longer lengths or heights. We can bend almost anything that you want to become maintenance free.
Can you help with insurance claims?
ACS specializes in storm, wind, and hail damage claims and we are able to work with any major homeowner’s insurance company! We are deeply experienced in the insurance claims process, maintain strong relationships with many major insurance providers, and we work quickly to assist you with your recovery.
